Dead Alone

Light a fire in your heart, and let it burn.

Whenever you feel dire, when your life is dangling in front of you, or whenever you feel isolated, you are truly alone.

Being alone isn’t just being individualistic. It’s not about the number of people currently with you. It’s about the feeling, that feeling of dread as if the world’s falling apart.

Loneliness is deadly. It traps you like a rat in a rat trap. It shallows your mind and narrows your view. It plays and fiddle around in your mind, playing tricks on you, exploiting your weaknesses to its fullest extent. When you succumbed to this force, it consumed you entirely, putting you out of control. And so it is. It claimed yet another life, but no one seemed to pay attention. No one can see the extent of such deadly force.

In a dire situation, a voice will ring on your head. It gave you the problem and the solution to the problem.

“You are on your own,” it said with such confidence, “You do not belong here,”

“What you should do is simple,” it continued after a slight pause, “You can end it right now, right then,”

People lose confidence, lose their sense of pride. They lost whatever values they hold. They lose their sense of togetherness, preferring to be alone. They lose the feeling of love and empathy. In a final stand, they lose their sense of humanity and – finally – their life. They end it from a false belief that the world is better without them.

We are human. We need each other. If you found anyone close to you starting to crumble over pressure, help them. Support them and give everything you got to stop them from meeting the fate of thousands of others. By saving their life, you saved your own. Now you know that you have your worth when helping them, right?

When that voice ever appeared again, you know you’re not alone…
